(deedrah hurt his back; no showed, dino paras no show, ticon forgot their music, and astrix missed his plane and came 12 noon the next day (his full-on is so weak), however i had a GREAT TIME in montreal. i always do, and i'm kinda disappointed that i'm going to miss adrenaline drum aka california sunshine live pa and mashed potatos aka necton live pa aug 27, 28th.. however i will b partying my ass off at boom. <br/> <br/>i just wanted to leave a short message about what "MADE" the party for my friend Eric, a hip hop kid from rochester, ny who made the trekk up with me to the party. the time was 7am sunday morning and i was dancing around under my mask / hood (which you can view in my photos section if you will).. not bee-ing able to see, sensory depravation allows my brain to dance uninterrupted from distractions, however i cannot avoid certain disaster if i happen to do some quick movements. if i so happen to run into someone i always exclaim a sorry, usually it's nothing major.. i unveil myself and see Eric clutching his sides with laughter.. he was laughing so hard that it took him a second to tell me what was so funny. he gasped 'while you were dancing around you elbowed on of the stilted girls and sent her sprawling, she almost bit some sand!'... upon hearing this i respond with the first thing that came to mind "Awesome!" and then go back to some more dancing.. Eric showed the visible signs of insanity laughter pains, then tells me after i almost knocked her over a couple people gave me those looks of fucked up disgust like 'what the hell that guy is a freeeak.' but there were other people that Eric saw handing out hi fives and being like sweet! did you see that?!? that was f*@#%* hillarous... mixed results from a never tuff croud. It is not sceduled for release until the June 25th...this is our own kind of magical way to show our patriotism...”Viva la revolutione!!!” <br/> <br/>The organization Moveon.org is trying to get groups out to view the film opening day (June 25th) or at least by opening weekend. <br/> <br/>For those who have not heard-several Republican funded groups have started contacting theaters set to show the film trying to convince theater managers to not show it. Showing support of these theaters and this film would be a great boost to get the films message to the masses. <br/>Even if you do not agree with what the film says, I'm sure you also do not agree with a politial party trying to dictate what films are available for you to choose to see or not either. <br/> <br/>From the moveon website- <br/>Given how devastating Michael Moore's new film Fahrenheit 9/11 is to President Bush's carefully crafted facade, it's hardly surprising that right-wing groups who call Moore a "domestic enemy" are using censorship and intimidation tactics to try to get it pulled from theaters. That's why we've got to do everything we can to make the opening a huge success. We're asking people to pledge to see the film on the opening night -- Friday, June 25th. (If you can only make it on Saturday or Sunday, that's OK too.) <br/> <br/>There is also a link to register to say you will come out and support the film opening weekend.
